Windows Freezes Daily

System is still freezing regularly (but not frequently.

This is likely a normal event (HP never said anything about it) but happens
at the same time as the freeze:

Microsoft (R) Windows (R) 5.01. 2600 Service Pack 2 Multiprocessor Free

What is this? Since HP never mentioned it in the eventvwr logs I sent them,
I assume it is a natural process? Microsoft info link IDs it as a normal
event - although why would it happen at the same time the system freezes?
Just what exactly is this?

Windows Freezes Daily

Please check Event Viewer for Warning / Error Report in the System and
Application over the last 2 days and post copies.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Administrative Tools, and
Event Viewer. When researching the meaning of the error, information
regarding Event ID, Source and Description are important.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP

Part of the Description of the error will include a link, which you should
double click for further information. You can copy using copy and paste.
Often the link will, however, say there is no further information.

(Please note the hyperlink above is for illustration purposes only)

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double click
on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a button
resembling two pages. Double click the button and close Event Viewer. Now
start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of the message. This
will paste the info from the Event Viewer Error Report complete with links
into the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from Event
Viewer.

Windows Freezes Daily

Note the application hang on 1/2 and 1/3 was Netscape. I had been using an
older version even though I had 8.0 installed. After uploading a new web
page, I decided to [finally] stop using the older version (I also use MSIE -
current version) and use Netscape 8.0 which kept crashing. After a trip to
Netscape, I deleted the cookies in MSIE and it solved the problem. The
computer did not freeze when the application hang happened
